Jamaican born, S. Karl Wilson aka"MCK" has had a long standing investment in the Caribbean community where he continues to introduce new forms of multimedia advertising, consulting, web designing, graphic arts, videography, fundraising, sponsorship for various economic projects (currently focused in Jamaica and Canada) and more recently has promoted the concept of mobile application usage to reach wider business audiences in the development of commerce in the Caribbean Diaspora and the world.

Karl established MCK Productions in 1984 as a non-profit organization which has been consistent in developing and promoting upcoming artists and producers as well as providing a platform for a wide range of talents to showcase their skills. Karl’s strong connections to the production and promotion industries has lead him to successful collaborations with artists such as Ice-T, DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince, Dennis Brown, Gregory Issacs, Yellow Man, Professor Nuts, Alex Marley, Luciano, Tarrus Riley, Jimmy Riley, Charlie Chaplin, Robb Base, Young Mc, and many more. Added to his list of accomplishment are his experiences in Calgary Alberta on Radio 104.5FM and contributions to the Calgary 1988 Winter Games.

Karl maintains strong relationships with the Justin Hinds Foundation, St. Thomas Environmental Protection Agency, The Paul Bogle Foundation, The Jamaican Association of Composers, Authors and Publishers Limited (JACAP) and SOCAN which is the Canadian equivalent. He remains at the forefront of the promotion and development of the Caribbean’s economic , cultural social and conscious awareness through his major productions as CEO of JAMCKAFEST 2011 and 2012 – overall, sustaining our rich heritage for future generations.
